Hey Guys,
I've been shooting a Marlin in .35 Rem since 1970 having taken both deer and black bear with it. Much of my hunting has been done with a Speer 180 grain flatnose over IMR 3031 for about 2200 fps. Never had to take a second shot.
In the last couple of years, I've begun to experiment with cast bullets, and am going out this fall with some cast flatnosed. I expect similar results based on my experiences to date.
Great rifle....it was my first and still the one I reach for when I go into the field be it for big game or groundhogs.
