For anyone who is interested, here is what the good folks at Ramshot powder sent me on .350 Rem Mag loads:

Chris,

We suggest some guidelines below for the 350RemMag.
Caliber: .350 Remington Magnum.
Barrel length: 24”
Powder: Ramshot – TAC®.
Bullet weight: 225 grains.
Start load: 53.0grains (2400 - 2500 Ft/p/sec)
Maximum load: 59.0 grains (2600 – 2700 Ft/p/sec).

Powder: Ramshot – BIG GAME®.
Bullet weight: 225 grains.
Start load: 57.6 grains (2300 - 2400 Ft/p/sec)
Maximum load: 64.0 grains (2600 – 2700 Ft/p/sec).Full case/compressed.
NOTES:
It’ important to note that SAFETY is our prime concern therefore we strongly recommend.
1. TO ALWAYS BEGIN LOADING AT THE RECOMMENDED MINIMUM “START” LOAD and develop loads in 2% increments towards the MAXIMUM load.
2. If at all possible, measure the velocity and correlate with our data.

I'm loading TAC in mine with 225 grain Nosler Partitions and 220 grain Speer Hot Cors for cheaper practice.

That looks like a reasonable starting point. Quickload predicts mid 40K psi and about 2,500 fps.

.350 Rem Mag Impressive Velocity

Barnes lists 58 to 64 gr TAC for their 200gr TSX. FWIW
.

Any confirmation on loading 64 grains of TAC with the Barnes 200gr TSX in the .350 Rem Mag and getting 2943 fps MV with a 20" barrel? Energy would be 3850 ft.lbs.

Putting it mildly, it seems a bit aggressive. If it is attainable I will be the proud owner of a .350 RM very shortly. Sadly I sold my Remington 700 Classic .350 about 30 years ago but still have reloading dies, brass and bullets. Among many other calibers I hand load the .358 and .356 Winchesters so I have TAC powder and Barnes 200 and 225 grain TSX and TTSX bullets.

I have a Remington limited Classic, 22" bbl, and really like the Hornady 200 grain spire point. I use 55 grains of 3031 for 2704 fps; never tried TAC. Have gone up to 59 grains 3031 and all charges scored well under an inch; dramatically so. Finally settled on 55grns as a factory duplication load.
