Hi guys,
I have a 375 94 and love it! Now, I found a 356 94, that is like new. I think I "need" it, but can't find any info on it. <!--emo&:(--><img src="http://beartoothbullets.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('><!--endemo--> Does anyone have one, what do you think of the caliber? What is its potential? Etc......

As Always
Muchas Gracias

My Winchester 94 Big Bore is a pretty decent rifle.  Mine, too, was in like new condition when I got it.  220 gr. Speers have been the only bullet I've used so far.  Accuracy can be excellent with 5 shots at less than 2" at 100 yards with most powders tried.  Mine's scoped since that humpback stock whacks my cheekbone pretty hard if I bear down and use the iron sights.  All in all, I am pleased.  I'm in line for some of Marshall's bullets to work with.  These and the .356 will go after boar in California this fall.  Ed

Juan Tedman, the 356 is reloaded using 358Win dies. It is essentially a rimmed 358Win but with slightly less velocity. Certainly more then a 35Rem so that's not bad territory to be in. It never caught on for whatever reason (there are many, IMO). I feel you'll get a flatter trajectory with similar weight bullets then what the 375 will do. Both are better then the paper ballistics.
