Data From my library of manuals for a 158 grain bullet:

Lyman 45th, 1970: H110, na. 2400, 11.5-15,

From Hodgdon 26th, 1992: H110, 14-14.5, 2400: 11.5-13.8

Hodgdon on-line as of today: H110, 15-16.7

Alliant on-line as of today: 2400, max 14.8

Lyman 50th, 2015: H110, 16.3-17, 2400: 11.3-14.9

I can tell you a 16.7 grain charge of H110 is pretty snappy and shows "signs of pressure" in my KGP161, GP161 and Blackhawk and velocities well over the stated 1300.

2400 loads as you can tell are pretty much "even" across the years but a 14.9 grain from today is much hotter vs a 15 grain load from 1977 (maybe 1975) when Dad loaded them. I don't shoot them because, well, Dad reloaded them.

ANYways

SAAMI spec? which one? the original or the lowered, modified one?
The Sierra book doesn't list pressures but my load is between the minimum and maximum listed loads.
That information and the fact that I have no signs of over-pressure tells me my loads are OK in my guns.
