The BTB technical guide says to attain air rifle velocities for firelapping.  I have an amount of Bullseye onhand that I intend to use for this but wonder if anyone can suggest a starting weight of this powder for this purpose.  I've fireformed 375 cases from 30/30 cases before and used 4.5 gr.  I wonder if this charge weight would stick a bullet?

Hi, Bart:
4 grains of Red Dot is enough for a .30-06 and 3 grains for a .303 British. Case capacity with bullet for a .303 is about 50 grains of water, so if your .375's capacity is about 40 grains, I'd start at 3.0 and work down to 2.5 grains of Bullseye.

Bye
Jack

I second the motion, that sounds very reasonable to me.
