Hello from Scotland

Well im STILL awaiting my .444p Marlin to arrive !
I have all the reloading bits and have loaded a few rounds to start me off.

I would be very grateful if someone could tell me of every manufacturer who make .444 and what loads are availble ? There cant be that many ?

In Britain i do not even know if you can get .444 ammo and if you can WOW it would cost big bucks.
One of my other hobbies , is to collect shot gun cartridge boxes that i like, just the empty box normally only ammo i like and respect.

Well the .444 being so rare over here i fancy trying to collect EMPTY .444 card board boxes in good condition.

If any of you could collect a bunch of empty .444 boxes different makes loads i would, pay postage and packing to Britain.

Can any one help ??

Thanks Mike that would be great any boxes you can get hold of would be most appreciated, no hurry old chap.

.45-70 rifles can be bought here no trouble Marlins, Winchesters, Brownings, sharps, Rugers, etc although they are NOT common you see them advertised in every magazine.

.444 how ever are extremly rare i have only ever seen two advertised, and NEVER .444 ammo.

Winchester 300gn .45-70 sp over here costs £84.30 ! per 100 rounds.

I went for the .444 partly due to its rarity in Britain, it would be nice to have a collection of .444 ammo boxes.
