Is it possible for you to shoot .45 Colt in a full choke .410 shotgun??? I have heard it was but I just want to make sure before I blow myself up by accident. I was thinking it would be possible because you can shoot a slug in my shotgun I have before.
I would not advise shooting the .45 LC in the .410 shotgun, You would be pushing a .452/.454" slug down a .410" tube. There have been some specialty firearms with oversize bores set up for that combonation, like the Contender, but as a general rule it's not a good idea. I have been testing the new 3" Rottweil Brenneke slug and can tell you it's a nasty little load. In the Savage/Stevens Mod 24 with sights it's accurate out to 75 yards or so. A 5 pack of those in your pocket covers a lot of uses. Be safe and go that way.
