Looking for load data for this bullet in my Ruger SRH 7 1/2  454 casull.
Looking for velocity around 1500-1600 fps. Most of the manuals available, that I'v seen, do not give data for alot of the bullets I hear talked about in shooters form. Is there a good source anywhere?
Has any one had any experence with this bullet? Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

Check load swap. I know I have loads posted there one of which is for a 335gr WFNGC bullet. I started at 26grs of H110, which was enough so that the powder was to the base of the bullet, I increased the powder charge until I achieved the results I was looking for. I will say that I have found the 1500fps range much more comfortable, and it hits just about as hard as it does at 1600.

LBT 335gr WLNGC Start at 26gr H110/W296 and work up 1/2gr increments to 29gr. At this level they will be right around 1600 in your 7 1/2" srhk. This load is in the 50-53,000 Cup range. That is with starline cases, WSRP.
PS. You may want to put a mouth piece in. Hang on and have fun. let us know how the loads work out.
Jim.

hey joe
I just recieved a box of 360 and 335 WLNGC from cast preformance they include in the box a start load of 25.0 g w296/h110 for the 335 and 22.5g w296/h110 for the 360 .  I have loaded and fired about 20 rns of the latter
load which has mild recoil and bullet inpacts like a sledgehammer.  since I havent cleared the purchase of a cronograph with wife I really cant tell you much about the velocity but I doubt if it makes a 1000fps
I may never shoot another 300 gn jacketed,  anyone out there need a bunch of hornday xtps

Hey Joe,

Whatcha gonna shoot with the .454?

By the way, a 335 WFN will go through a pig lengthwise ... at about 1100fps.  1500fps ought to be devastating.  I wouldn't get too hung up on velocity, just work up to something that you gun likes and you can shoot well.
