I have a ruger sbh in 454 and I really like the accuracy and power or the cartridge. I also love the handling and accuracy of my .357 Trapper so when will winchester get the drift and start putting these guns together. I hope they put heavy metal in them so we can really see what a 454 carbine or long barrel can do.

If you're waiting for a Winchester M94 in .454 the only possible way this would happen is if the Big Bore platform is used.  The .454 Casull cartridge develops too much pressure for the standard M94 to handle safely.  Currently, the closest you can get to the Casull ballistics (safely) in a M94 would be to go with the .45 Colt and load it up to somewhat under 40K.  If you really gotta have 50K in a lever gun, you'd better go with a M92 clone which will be hampered by short overall cartridge length in the Casull.  You may be surprised what can be done with a long loaded (extra powder space) .45 Colt in the old M94 at a measly 35 to 40K... especially with 20 plus inch bbls .
