I finally had the chance to try out my reloads. They worked wonderfully, nice light recoil, consistant accuracy, and hardly any fouling of the chambers or bore.
The final product was, 255 grain lead hard cast in cowboy profile bullet sized @.455. 6.1 grains of blue dot powder. cases where Fiocci .455 webley MKII once fired. with winchester small pistol primers.
End results where light recoil, velocity was somewere between "faster then I can walk" to "slower then my 15 year old can come up with excuses for not mowing the lawn". Accuracy out of the colt new service, 5 1/2" barrel was respectable being approx. 1" high at 25 yrds, and about 2 "low at 50 yards. considering I am only going to use this combination for target shooting at 25 yrds and under I am happy and would like to take a moment to thank all you fine folks who helped me out on this project.
I suppose next I will be bothering you all for any related expirience's with the .38 S&W. I find myself in possesion of a 1942 Enfield break top revolver chambered for it. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://beartoothbullets.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->  (I love challenges I guess)
Again many thanks. I will keep you all informed about any load changes I will work on with the .455 also.
