Is it possible to build a 460 S&W on a Model 7 action? If so, what type of modifications would it take? Is it a simple rechamber/rebarrel job or alot more involved. Would another action be more plausible? Some of you are going to ask "Why?" I say "Why not." I have the 460 S&W in the Encore and love it. I'm just looking for something other than a single shot. Some will mention other calibers but I'm already set for the 460. Thanks for any input.

Interesting! Does the Encore have the same progressive rifling as the Smith & Wesson revolver?
I'd like a Winchester Trapper-sized lever action, like a Marlin Guide Gun to go with a revolver, but the compact Model Seven is a good choice, too, if the bolt face will work, I would think.
