And another. . you often find surplus ammo around packed in Garand clips in bandoliers. A little while back, there was lots of Korean ammo about, and more recently I've seen some Greek stuff. Usually available at good prices. Often buying ammo that way is as cheap as reloading, and you get brass, bandoliers, and clips, too.
The CMP was selling the Greek ammo. Currently out, but said they found another large supply that is supposed to come in January. They want 2 months to inspect it and test it and prep it for sale, so it should be available in March. What I got is in bandoliers with clips.
Fulton Armory has 10 packs of clips for $14.95. Not the kind of price you are looking for, I expect.
