I have been loading AA 20s for several years and recently after my daughter got into trap shooting I started buying some new shells for her to shoot as well as picking up the empties at the trap range. All of the new shells are just a hair shorter than the hulls I am now loading and they don't want to crimp together all the way in the middle leaving a small hole for the shot to fall out of. I ran into a proplem of some of the new 12 ga AA hulls wanting to wrinkle up with the old wad I was using and after changing to a different wad that problem was solved. Not sure if the problem with the 20 GA hulls is due to a wad problem or not, but I really don't think it is. If anybody out there has any ideas I would love to hear them.

Here is what you can do is one of 2 things , You can put over shot in before you crimp the shell .You can buy them . Or you can make your own . I make my own with a 5/8" gasket punch made from cracker boxs cardboard . Or you can conver them to roll crimp them. I would just add the overshot to them.Hope this will help.
