Maybe, but you never really know.  It is true that jacketed bullets tend to be a little more forgiving of bore constrictions, etc., than cast.

You won't hurt the bore by slugging if you follow Marshall's directions.  It's quite educational.  Proceed carefully and be prepared to learn more about your gun.
