My first rifle was an Anschutz Achiever that my dad bought for me when I was nine. Nice hardwood stock, hooded front sight, adjustable buttplate. I absolutely loved it and thought it was the best rifle in the world.

It ended up getting sold and I decided I wouldn't mind getting one to pass down to my son.

Now I'm searching desperately to find one, and I'm afraid I may be S.O.L.

Sorry to hear about the little Anschutz. It would make me sick to my stomach too! But, I think if you are patient, and keep checking GunBroker, Gunsinternational and other sites, you will eventually find one. Good luck!
