I have a Sharps-Borchardt Model 1878 that i bought off a guy that was built into a .219 zipper improved 28 degree varmint rifle. I was thinking of put it back to original. Did anybody have website for the stocks, sights that you have used? I'm more into bolt action so i don't know if it's worth putting back or just out right selling it.

Well....it won't be original so you'll have to represent it as restored. There aren't a lot of Borchardt around so it could well be worth it. I'm unaware of any over the shelf parts available for an 1878. I have the Sharps book in my library, let me browse through it tonight and see what I find regarding calibers and such.

Shiloh and/or C. Sharps does restorations I believe. It won't be inexpensive.
