When did Marlin move from New Haven to North Haven?

Prior to the current move from NYS to Kentucky, Marlin was at their present plant, now known as 100 Kenna Drive, since 1870, AFAIK.

Although today they are separate municipal entities, when the plants were first established in the 1800's, both East Haven (Winchester), New Haven (Mossberg), and North Haven (Marlin) were all considered part of the Greater New Haven area.

According to Brophy's history, the Marlin plant was moved to North Haven in 1969. The plant in New Haven was there from 1882. Being in CT and to the Marlin plant a number of times, I noticed that that the building conerstone says 1969.
