To all the Aussie's out there.

I am not from Australia and I heard that brumbies (feral horses) are commonly hunted.
This is new to me and I want to know if it is really true.
Does any one have any stories of hunting one and photos to share. Horses are not hunted where I am and its kind of a new concept to me.

No it is not common. At times they are culled due to excessive numbers, usually by professional shooters. At times some people have shot them for the same reason

From what I have seen on youtube, donkeys, camels as well as brumbies are 'shot' but you really could not call it hunting, more like vermin control to keep the numbers down and stop degradation of the environment, all three being introductions of non native species.
