I guess I've missed that application from B Square somewhere along the line! I wasn't aware that they made such a critter! I'll have to look it over myself!
Just went to the website to have a look. No such luck! No photo, just a very breif description indicating that the mound is a receiver side mount style, but didn't indicate required alteration of the gun, if any for the mount.
I called them and ordered one the day I made the post asking for opinions. They actually make 2 different mounts for the Rossi 92. One mount fits on the barrel using the rear sight dovetail(uses a pistol scope). The other is the sidemount that attaches using the lever screw and anchors using 2 screws that tighten down on the left side of the top of the receiver. The mount is offset to the side just a little to allow for ejection. I hate to scope a levergun, but my 50 year old eyes just don't do worth a hoot with the iron sights anymore. <!--emo&--><img src="http://beartoothbullets.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''><!--endemo--> Thanks for the reply.
