Can you guys post the BC of any 45 cal bullets in the 300gr range that you know.  I want to input a few into my ballistics program to make some comparisons to the 44 mag and 480 ruger.  On that note, bc's for some 44 mag and 475 cal bullets would be helpful too. Is everything just roughly .2 or can we be more exact?

Hi, Guys:
The Lyman 457191 goes 293 gr. and has a medium sized meplat and a B.C. of .240 at velocities below 144 fps. That's the only data I can find in that range. Actually, there's very little difference at 100 yards between  B.Cs of .200 and .240. If the muzzle velocity is 1200 fps, 100 yd Vs are 1041 & 1062 respectively, and energies are 722 & 751 for a 300 gr. bullet. Additional drop is 0.2 inch. Don't think the deer will know the difference.

 Old Elmer's 429421's B.C. is .250 between 1300 & 800 fps, according to Lyman.

Bye
Jack

Thanks, That is the first answer of any kind that I have received on this subject.  At least I am in the right ballpark now.
