I have shot it with the barrel turned because as you say the barrel doesn't care about orientation.
I have the rear sight moved as far as it will go and I'm about 2" away from zero on the target. I have to move the front sight to get it perfect.
The gun shoots accurately at 50 yards when I compensate for the 2". At 100 yards my eyes aren't as good as they use to be.
I would like to be able to get it zero'd in without compensating for the 2" left of center.
This is a shooter not a collector and I just broke it out for the first time in a very long time when my son in law said it probably wasn't powerful enough for what he wanted.
I guess he wanted a bruise on his shoulder and after making him shoot 20 rounds he got it.
I just want to make it as good as can be.
I like it to much to let him have it though.
