I am wondering if you can use their cast bullets for hunting deer sized game?  I'd like to use the 416" 335 gr., at a reduced velocity, for deer hunting. My question is, are they too soft, limiting penetration?

They are the Creme de'la Creme of hunting bullets. The LBT style bullets heattreated to 20+Brinnell will deform slightly but hang together for superior penetration and wound channel performance. They will take ANY animal that walks this earth with authority in a suitable firearm fo the game pursued. I suggest you familiarize yourself with this site and much of it is self explanatory. They are a handcast bullet and not machine cast. practice with the others and use the Beartooth bullets for perfomance when it counts.

In that .416, they will probably go through a deer lengthwise, at any reasonable velocity!
