Gentlemen,
We are considering the possiblility of developing an online loading data resource center for the users of this website. It would be comprehensive in scope, and be user interactive, utilizing the generous sharing of data and information of our users, and you, the folks who have made this forum the special resource it has become.
The vision is for a database protected by a comprehensive disclaimer notice page, and registration similar to the forum in order to use or post informaton. The data displayed would be catagorized by caliber, cartridge, then by bullet weight, then each load under a given bullet weight sorted in ascending order of velocity, then finally the originator of the data. Data will be not only for cast bullets, but any bullet for any cartridge... those loads that our visitors have developed or loads that they have found useful.
Data will be entered through a simple series of data boxes with some obvious data required, and then places for other optional data on each load. Posting of that data will be instantaneous. And printable views of course part of the program.
In order for this to be successful it will require the participation of all, if it is to be a truly comprehensive resource. Like much of our website, it would be designed with user interaction an integral element of it's development.
Let us know your thoughts and your opinions of such an online resource! We want this to be YOUR source for loading information and technical help!
God Bless,
Marshall
