Alan,

While I don't know any particulars. I'd say it's a safe bet to assume so. The lube situation a while back is the cause of it. Haven't seen the man on the forum in a while either. Probably going full bore to get orders out.

Regards,

He's putting in 12 to 14 hours a day and still not healed up from the bad fall he took! I don't know how he does it, but he still is pushing for his customers!!!!!
Best regards To All, James
James,

I didn't know Marshall was injured. What happened and how is he doing?
Bill...Most of this Forum respects Marshall a great deal, but let me tell you he's one He** of a fine man. We all know the lube problem and he would not ship a less than quality product! Once the lube problem was solved, he started putting in 12 to 14 hour days. It was snowing and ice on the ground. He was carrying out a 75 pound box of bullets. he slipped on the ice and went down, hiiting his head, and the 75 pound box of bullets landed on his chest! Fractured ribs and all!
What's he do? You got it...still pushing bullets!!! So I will wait for however long it takes to get my bullets, since I know that when I pull the trigger....that bullet has been custom hand cast, inspected, custom sized to my firearm, inspected, and shipped. I can always find production run stuff to plink with, but when I am looking at a 400 boar hog, my firearm will be loaded with Beartooth!!!!
Best Regards to All, James
I've always believed that it takes a quality person to create something of equal quality. I have the patience of Sun Tzu, so I'll wait for quality however long it takes.
Let's just hope his recovery is a full one with no lingering effects. Prayers on the way.
Bill....I'm with you! I don't think Marshall wanted it out as I think he felt that it would look like an excuse for the backlog....that just isn't the case. I remember when George Nosler first made his Partition Bullets on an auto screw machine. He had the same backlog....but we waited since it was the very best jacketed game bullet of the day! What George Nosler did then for quality jacketed game bullets, Marshall Stanton is doing today with BTB LBT cast bullets! He is setting standards by with all others will only try to meet! For those who hunt dangerous game and want the smashing deep penetrating wound channels...there's just no other cast bullet on the market that will match the quality...and I have shot them all at one time or another.
I don't mean to preach, but something important is happing with BTB's influence on the serious game fields and some are missing it! I, for one, don't care if a quality cast bullet cost a dollar a pop and I have to wait six months! If it gets the job done in sweaty situations, you can bet I'll be shooting them! we can always "plink" with production machine cast stuff! So...I've had my say and it's time to feed the bulldogs!
My Best regards To All!!!! James

OUCH! I spun out and cracked a rib myself back in January. Luckily I didn't have to do much physical work until it healed.

Take care, Marshall.

Jack
OUCH, I HAVE YET TO EVEN TALK TO MARSHALL ON THE PHONE, BUT SOMEDAY I WILL IN WHICH IM SURE AT&T IS GONNA LOVE. THIS WEBSITE SAYS IT ALL ABOUT A QUALITY MAN AND FAMILY HE HAS, AND THE LOVE FOR THE ALMIGHTY AND OUTDOORS TOO.  SORRY TO HERE ABOUT HIS INJURY, GET WELL SOON MARSHALL!!! DROP IN AND LET US KNOW HOW YOUR DOING.    JIM.
Thanks to all gents!   I am on the mend, and indeed putting in some very long hours trying to get our backlog caught up!   My absence here hasn't been for any other reason other than I'm making bullets rather than frittering away my time on the computer!   I can easily spend four hours per day answering things on the forums, and I thoroghly enjoy that interation, but it doesn't get bullets into shooter's hands, nor does it provide for the family.

Thank you for your prayers and your well wishes!   You might continue to keep us in your prayers as I go in for some extensive medical tests next week... more info when appropriate and we have more answers.

Blessings to all, and many thanks!

Marshall
Marshall, our prayers are with you.  Extensive medical tests is a term that has an ominous ring to it.  Putting that on top of cracked ribs makes our hearts go out to you.  As with the others, our order can wait.  Your health, family and recovery are the only concerns.  God bless, Ed
