As I am going to equip my Remington 700 Classic 6.5 Swede with a new stock, I would be really grateful for your opinions.

Three B&C models are possible: LA Medalist Alaskan II, 700 BDL Mountain LA and 700 Bdl Sporter LA. Which one would fit the rifle best? What are your experiences and opinions?

I went thru the same process...

with a Model 600 & it really didn't matter since it needed bedding anyway. I'd get the pretty one that fits the best (personal choice).

Not a Remington but I put a Medalist on a Vanguard and like it except for one thing...the pistol grip could have a bit more drop to it. It isnt bad but it puts your grip and trigger finger higher up than I really care for. My 700 LVSF came factory with a B&C stock and it is the same way. Its ok on a bench but not as nice as the factory Wby stock for offhand positions. You get used to it. I also have a limited 700 ss 5R that came with an HS Precision and it is lacking in the pistol grip area too. Im probably the odd one here and most wouldn't care or notice the difference in a hunting rig. The next one I buy will be a varmint/tactical style with the steep drop in the pistol grip though...

My Ruger M77 (Tang Safety) 7mm Dakota is stocked with the B&C thumb hole sporter which has the full length bedding block and camo finish. Really great feel, although you get a tight cheekweld with low mounted scope.

I put B&C medallist on my Tikka T3 .204, The last 3shot group I shot is .2"

I've got a Bell&Carlson stock on my rem 700 .223 tactical build. The rifle shoots well and I have no complaints. The stock is nice and has a sort of rough texture that is really nice in the summer when I sweat from 110+ degree weather.

I put one on a 700 .243 in stainless. It fit well but I still needed to do some sanding for free float of barrel. After that it performed well with under 1/2" MOA. Much more rigid than the original synthetic stock.

I'd go with the Alaskan unless your an offhand shooter, in that case the Weatherby style would be the best choice.

I have considered the models with straight combs only. The Weatherby style has some advantages and is good-looking, but would not be optimal for prone. I like the prone position with the rifle resting on the backpack for longer shots.

End of the story

At the very end, I put an order on a B&C Medalist Sporter stock. My main problem with choosing the proper stock was the barrel contour versus barrel channel. But I found this: https://www.stockysstocks.com/contours/ Then I measured the barrel and saw that it was a standard Sporter barrel.

The stock came last week. It is a brown one with black spider web. I call the rifle "The Chocolate Rifle", as it has the colour of a chocolate bar. It has a stable feel, and assembly was easy, except getting the mag in place. I think that I am satisfied.
