The only factory ammo company of any size, that uses canister grade powder, was Nosler; and even they didn't load a weight of powder. So don't be like the bozos who pull and apart, weigh the powder and stare at it to magically Devine what it is
Factories charge cases by powder volume, and swap out powders constantly, so what was in lot 1 may be completely different from lot 2.
Much the same with canister grade powder, even if the name stays the same the powder can easily be changed silently. Hodgdon is quite famous in fact for buying whatever is cheaply available in a burning range, and calling it whatever they like. IMR 4064 has long been a General Dynamics powder out of Quebec. Except for two years ago, when Hodgdon was buying the 1# bottles from them, but the 8# kegs were from Rhinematall in Europe. Digging into Ramshot powders, they've all been quietly switching to General Dynamics powders over the past year-ish, and even their online data is not up to date....
Can't paint by numbers, and get anywhere.
