The method linked to is a commercial site for stainless pin cleaning in a rotary tumbler. Board member Humpy advocated this in a post about a year ago. The pins he got were less expensive, though. May have been a bulk purchase. I don't recall?

I couldn't find the post that you speak of. Sorry for posting this link. Are you referring the the owner of this forum or the owner of the reloading media supplier?

The board's owner, Marshall Stanton has to approve all commercial advertising on this board. Understanding you most probably are providing the links to assist board members in their shooting enjoyment with no financial gain personally, we still need Marshall's permission.

Posts. He mentions it in #29, in this thread. (His preceding post #25 may be of more interest to you for a reason to get all the carbon out.) He mentions it in post #18 in this other thread. I refer to his recommendation in #5, here. And in #8, in this one. I was sure there was a post in which he described the size of the pin media and where he got it and the ivory soap concentration he used with them, but I don't see it now. Old threads have vanished from the system from time to time.

Regarding ad policy, it's the board's owner's policy. You may have noticed the lack of banner ads and links on this board except to Beartooth bullets. He started the board to promote his own business (Beartooth Bullets) and the general spread of shooting information. He doesn't generally see a need to foot the bill for bandwidth for someone else's business. I think he also just doesn't like ads.

We don't discourage links like yours from people not related to the business in anyway (sale at Midway, gunshow in Podunk, etc.). If you are not connected with the business, my apologies, but, in general, when someone only has one post and it links to a commercial operation, it usually means they have an interest in it and joined solely for the purpose of getting some promotion on, in which case they'd need Marshal's permission here. If that is not the case with you, you're an exception. At least your links didn't mention sneakers or cell phones, and you didn't join from Asia, India, Russia or Africa, whose members seem always to wind up spamming.
