The Reload Bench has a few ads, BTB has none so far.
BTB is pretty much dedicated to cast bullets, cowboy shooting, lever actions (not exclusively).
The Reload Bench does not allow political topics. It isn't a forum for social controversy, but strictly for RELOADING. BTB allows most topics.
I've never been to the "Load Your Own" site.
Both sites I mention are filled with good folks who seem to know their stuff.
I would urge you to distinguish between authoritative information from component manufacturers and those who post on these sites. You and I don't really know the integrity or real expertise of whoever is posting here. Use info at your own risk. So if in doubt I urge you to contact the bullet, primer, powder, case, or firearms manufacturer in question. Reloading Equipment manufacturers are very helpful also.
There is a fourth site that I frequent. It is www.accuratereloading.com. BTB, Reloadbench.com and Loadyourown are all three full of good people with good information. LYO allows political and general discussions. If you follow along, you will find alot of names you recognize. Accuratereloading is much larger than the other three put together. It is very freewheeling and sometimes things heat up. While there is excellent information there the other three seem to be technically superior (IMHO). Accurate does cover a much wider variety of topics. They talk about hunting, shooting, reloading, politics and religion with all view points well represented.
Very well put gentleman, glad to see no petty comparisons just honest responses based on personal feelings and real information.
As for which forum is the best I have been watching this posting on all three. Frankley I must say that to inspire comparisons between people to determine superiority seems a bit against the grain of the basis of the religion being used as the foundation of ones fundemental beleif's.
I personally have found all three to be helpful and full of good natured folk who are knowledable and more then willing to share their expiriences with us beginers.
