bushnell is the route i would go, though i had a 3x9-40 Blazer scope on my marlin 22 bolt action that was about a 30$ scope, on 3 power it would produce .5 ten shot groups at 40 yards, when turned up in magnification it changed POI.
Been there - Done that! For just 22LR target shooting you'll want an some power and an AO but really don't need the expensive dusk and dawn light gathering. I'd suggest going over your $!00 budget just a bit:
i find the larger power scopes fine if you only will be using it at the range from a rest. however if you want the option of free hand plinking and ocasional varment wacking i think this one would be more suited.
