Henry, the way the books list the Big Bores doesn't tell you too much but I can offer this; WRA made them for about 2 years, from sometime in 1979 to mid 1981. Then USRAC took over. The Winchester made guns will have a straight stock (traditional style M94 buttstock) the USRAC guns have a cheek-piece. My BB94 in .375 Win has a serial number higher than yours and mine was made by WRA, so I think it is safe to assume yours was made in 1979, perhaps early 1980, which is about as close as you can get when dating firearms anyway.
