If the Govt. owned building does not meet specified security standards, carrying for self defense would be legal. This puts the shoe on the other foot for a change.

Fairly clever. The threat of high cost of security for those that do have the 'no guns' signs up might make them take down those signs. IF the bill passes, anyway. Might make a lot of people actually think even if it doesn't pass.

My county house has very little security, the county house in the county just south of me has no practical security, even thou the sheriff's department is joined to the court house.

It's a matter of money these days.
