They have a "green" slug. .729 inches, so it doesn't need a sabot. It's 375 grains, normal. The "odd" thing is that it's a solid hunk of aluminum (looks like bar stock from the picture) with a copper jacket.

Any thoughts? Seems like an interesting idea to me.

For a deer it should work just fine. At $2.00 each they had better work. I think the primary benefit is that it is "non-toxic." I like the DGS at less than 1/2 the cost.
