I am looking for a place to buy 22-250 brass in bulk. I'm going on a prairie dog hunt in july and just need brass and then I will have everything I need to start loading a bunch. Once fired is fine I'm just trying to save money. Anybody know of a good place/site?

Ther is no info on where your home is . If your in the States there is an endless supply of houses that supply used brass at a good price .
If your in Canada then your limited to what you can get , but still the internet is a source for what your looking for ......

So if we knew where you hug your hat then maybe some one could steer you to the place .

I've never really thought of once fired for 22-250. The .223, .308 and lots of pistol cases, but non-military bottle-necked cases aren't typically found in bulk, as once fired brass. If there is a source for such, I am unaware of it.

+1 on what broom_jm said. Most of the once-fired bulk brass advertised for sale consists of the most common calibers. Anyone shooting a .22-250 quickly learns to pick up their brass and get into the habit of reloading. 500 rounds of new brass, loaded conservatively, should last you a very long time. Last year I ordered a thousand rounds of new .44-40 brass from Starline which for me, would amount to a lifetime's supply. Hope you run across what you're looking for but in the event that you don't, there's always new brass.

I shoot the 45 GAP and found a place that did have once fired 45 GAP brass, I bought him out, he hasn't had any for a while. Plus I am looking for 300 RUM brass, a few people have traded around with me, but not any real quantity. I like to have a lot of brass, so once I find a load that works for me, I can load a bunch have a consistent for a couple of years or more.

Yes there is new brass but it isn't cheap any more.

It's getting so that "cheap" brass is no longer an issue. It's getting brass that's the issue. I pick up whatever I can left on the ground at my local range even though it will be processed and stockpiled for use at a later date. What I can't get locally, I order new from the shooter supply houses to be stockpiled. Expect the price of components to remain high until we are out of the recession so stockup whenever you can.

That PRVI stuff from Graf's is a pretty good price at $.30 a piece, thats .223 territory and its good enough for a handful of reloads.
