Hello All!!!
 I just traded an Savage .223 bolt I had for a Browning a-bolt in 300 win mag with the BOSS system.  The A-bolt is near new, stainless steel with a poly stock, as the previous owner shot it once and was recoil shy.
 My question to my fellow shooters since I have not fired this rifle is:  What experience have you had with the Brownings?  Are they decent, accurate rifles?  Is the BOSS system worth the extra noise, or should I contact Browning for the Un-drilled Comp that makes it a plain bbl?
 Any help would be appreciated!!!!<!--emo&:)--><img src="http://beartoothbullets.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

 I am not a fan of the brakes myself, too much noise to justify lessining the recoil.  I guess though, in the field, the noise would be somewhat dissapated, as opposed to at the range.
 My a-bolt came with 2 compensators,one is the the perforated or "vented" brake, and the other, Browning is calling a BOSS CR, or conventional recoil.  This is a solid brake, so the noise and BLAST is directed down range.
I have been told that the accuracy from these type of bolt rifles is great, I'm sure gonna try to find out!
