Hello all,

I'm on another crazy quest for information to compile in a spreadsheet!

My goal is to make a list of as many standard and wildcat cartridges as you all will help me identify, with their respective case capacity, as expressed in grains of water, when filled to the top of the neck, not just the shoulder. If time allows, I would prefer that you take this measurement on no less than 10 pieces of brass and at least 2 different brands. I know that is a lot to ask, but I'm looking for both a capacity range AND average, if possible.

An example of what I'm saying would be as follows:

270 Winchester, 63 - 68gr for 10 cases, avg. 65.3gr

308 Winchester, 57 - 61.5gr for 10 cases, avg. 58.7

I would like to have a list of at least 100 different cases for this spreadsheet. Thanks in advance to any willing to participate!

Jason

P.S. The rounds listed above are not actual findings, just an example.

Hunt down a copy of Mic McPhersons Metalic Cartridge Reloading. He lists the total water capacity for all standard and some wildcat cartridges.
