I have a S&A Champion .45.  I have replaced the sear with a Wilson Combat Sear and a Videki Speed Trigger.  I'd like to lighten the trigger a pound or two, but have been told I should replace the S&A 3 finger sear spring with a Clark 4 Finger sear spring.  I was told this would make it safer with a lighter trigger.

Anyone have any thoughts, insight or comments before I do this?

Thanks

Hi:
I've got limited, perhaps 500 rounds, experience with the Clark spring in my old Remington-Rand.  Sear, hammer and disconnecter are original, and the trigger is a long one I picked up years ago.  It gave me a  3 3/4 lb pull out of the box, but I had to tweek the grip safety leaf to get enough tension.

No problems yet, but I've seen posts claiming they break on high mileage guns. Given Clark's reputation, I'm leaving it in.

Bye
Jack
