For anyone who may be interested, The Pennsylvania NRA Cowboy Silhouette Championship is being held at the McKean County Rifle Club located on Rt 770 just south of Bradford, PA Sept. 28th and 29th.
There are 3 scheduled 60 shot matches. On Saturday, beginning at 9AM the .22 rifle competition begins. That will be followed starting at about 1:00 with the Lever action pistol cartridge. On Sunday, the lever action rifle cartridge match will be held beginning at 9:00.
Sights must be either open, receiver, or tang and must be manufactured for the rifle.
Cartridges must be of the rimmed type with the exception of the .35 Remington.
All ammunition must be of the round or flat nosed variety, cast or jacketed bullets. Of course I'll be shooting cast.
The range will be open for sighting in and practice for about 1 hour prior to the start times.
