Found some youtube videos of people replacing their 700 barrels with "rem/age" barrels from Northland shooters supply. Looks interesting using a Savage style barrel nut on a 700. I already have an action wrench and barrel block so it would seem to be easier than trying to get remington take-off barrels to headspace right. Has anyone here done a Remington with one of these barrels?

Been a hot minute since I've done any business with Jim, but yes. If you are truly asking if he's capable of chambering a barrel, or adding threads; more than. When I first ran into him, he was a longtime Savage guy; supported a couple forums with advertising. Won't sweat to this, but think he was the one that coined the "Rem-age" term...

I put one of Jim's barrels on my 6BR and it shoots fantastic.
