Not a gunsmith question, more of a machining question. My ductile iron Wilton bench vise has those useless pipe jaws on the underside, and they just seem to bug me. They haven't gotten in my way, so far, but they're bug-ugly and useless to me. Without wasting my time and tools trying cut them off does anyone know the best way to cut, grind, saw, or machine the things off? Ductile iron is tuff stuff.
