Shot a few Tikkas, and one CZ. Thought the CZ a bit of a Ginzu, so would go Tikka.

Not saying the QC isn't good, just the finishing wasn't what I would call good.

So the Ginzu(ginsu?) comment is about edges and corners, being very sharp.

plan to shoot recreational range and informal target; is the Cz accuracy inferior for this?
This is tough to answer. Generally speaking, they are perfectly fine rifles; but most out there are.
The devil is always in the details though. So if you don't like things with sharp edges, maybe not a CZ. If you don't like things with loose tollerances, maybe not a Savage, etc.

Most factory rifles are, or cheaper can be made to be, very accurate rifles. Every brand and model has their own nuances, that you need to decide if you can live with.

Go hold and cycle the bolt on a few different things, handle them and look them over carefully. When you take a shine to one or a few then ask some specifics. Will help get things narrowed down for you.
