ANyone know how to get the dang Hogue grips of of a Ruger RedhawK? The RUger customer service guy said to insert a credit card to break the seal and pull them downward to get them off.

I no weakling, but I'd need three sets of hands to try an move these grips.

After you remove the screw on the bottom they should just slide off. They need come mostly down and a little back in a bit of a curve.

Yes, but they don't cover the bottom of the grip frame and there's no screw. There's protruding plastic that fits into the hole in the grip frame, but I can't get it to fully release.

It snaps together top and bottom, but even after you unsnap it, it does not want to move at all.

got 'em off. They snap into a circular plug at the base of the grips. Unfortunately, half of the rubber cover pulled off of the plastic frame in the struggle to get them off.

Not impressed. My S&W's have the kind that screw into the bracket on the base of the grip. Much easier to deal with.

Now...where's that epoxy...
