Good, you went for the classic "under the wing" shot with the 270. I prefer the 22-250 head shot- both traditional ways to hunt turkey!

No, he was perfectly content to reside near the tailgate. His girlfriend was not too impressed and ran off when I went over to pick him up.

Salted the meat, then when home put it in some rather acidic red wine for a day or so in the fridge. Cooked the breast fillets up tonight in the rest of the wine with some vegetables and darned if it wasn't some of the best eating I've had in a while.

Mmmm, that looks like it should be sliced up and laid on a bed of pasta with garlic, mushroom, capers & alfredo sauce!

It was cooked with capers, olives, and some sort of tomato sauce, plus other stuff. Noodles of uncertain origin. Pretty good call!

Yea but Chief, It all looks good in the pictures. Mike will eat anything. I saw him once fighting a dog over some pork ribs. Mike said they were his, and the dog thought they were his.
Don't know who won that fight!
