I would buy the SS with the 22" barrel.
I like the pistol grip stock.
I have allways worried that you could not reliably and safetly meet your velocity and energy requirements. The 22" barrel would assure of exceeding the energyvelocity requirement with 300+ grain bullets.
I do not like the ports on my Guide Gun and Timber Carbine. They are very hard on shooting partners!
You can fit the bullets to your throat and bore, so the micro-groove rifling should not be a problem.
I like the longer barrel for swinging on moving game, but thats an individual thing.
