The new CVA Scout looks pretty interesting. I just about settled on a compact handi-rifle for my son's first deer rifle and then I come across this. Does anyone here have first had experience with them? I want to stick with the break open single shoot as I beleive he is left-eye dominant (but right handed) and want to sort that out before getting him a LH or RH rifle.

I dont have any experience with the scout but have found CVA to be a decent company for the budget minded. with that said you cant go wrong with a handi rifle, extremly accurate and reliable as a rifle gets.

Wont a CVA Scout go LH or RH ?.
What would that have to do with being left-eye and right handed ?
