Beartooth lists both the bullets length and seating depth for their bullets, but this is very rare. I currently have seven reloading manuals from five companies all list COL and case dimensions but not one lists bullet length or seating depth. I have been to many bullet sites as I work on the .416 TAS and have yet to find one offering this information. Kudos to BTB, and Kudo dung to the rest of the industry.

FIREPLUG,
I asked Sierra this same question several years ago. As best as I recall this was the meat of their answer.
When dealing with rifle bullets, length is not very informative. The ballistic coefficient was an indicater of length and design. The BC info was thought to be more important.
Every manual I own give a suggested O.A.L. I hope that this is of some help. Good luck.
