Have STS hulls, RP FIG8S hulls, RP STS 209 primers but have no idea whether Remington uses chilled or magnum shot. Anyone know for certain which one to use? So far, have written to Ballistic Products and Lawrence Brand shot with no definitive answer. Waiting on Remington to reply. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Interesting... cause years back manufacturers were proud to mark their loads as using chilled shot but not for a long time have I seen such a reference. Would think their target loadings, such as the STS, would be at least a hardened shot but only a wild guess. I have no idea what they use.

Just received a response from Remington Support Staff, Remington uses magnum shot in their STS shotgun shells. Hope this helps anyone interested in duplicating STS shotgun shell components. Thanks for your post O'Connorsun.

Tman couldnt have said it better, he is right. If you miss, its either you've stopped your swing and wer late or not at level. Shotgun shooting has always been a point of exchange in many a forums. It all boils up to practice, practice practice. Dry mount and swing at home, just make sure ur gun aint loaded.

....only high performance ammo will do. National titles are not won with dove and quail promotional loads.
