I am looking into an ultra light .22 that is SSS and can capable. I was intending on using the papoose as the platform, unless maybe there is a carbon/stainless option out there for a 10-22? Need stainless and LIGHT weight for my application.

Any leads would be appreciated, thank you.

I would use a 10-22 if I could find a light AND fast twist barrel....so far I'm just finding light OR fast twist....

Lots of variations available. S/s is going to be much heavier than carbon fiber or aluminum sleeved barrels, no matter what. Best weight wise is fluted, but cost goes up some. 1-16 is the fastest I've seen in .22 LR, but there are lots of available barrels. This was about the best priced one I could quickly locate that keeps weight down in a s/s barrel and is from a reputable maker:

I don't think you'll find many aftermarket barrels for the Papoose. I have one and the only kind I've found is standard. You might be able to take it to a gunsmith however, and have a fast twist sleeve put into the barrel:
