For some strange reason, in the past few weeks I started having trouble with dusty fines from the corn cob media clinging to the brass after it is seperated from the media. I also noticed the same fines clinging to the inside of the trumbler bowel.

I have never had this problem before. What is going on? Has anyone else had this problem.

Cut up a dryer sheet and put a few strips into the tumbler. It should eliminate or at least lessen the problem.

The used dryer sheets can help pick up dust and reduce static cling. If you've used your media much, it has made a lot of dust. You can take it outside when there is a light breeze and pour it from one container into another and back a few times to get the dust separated.

I started using a t-shirt with the neck-hole zip tied shut and the arms tied off. I throw the brass in there after they tumble and shake them around a bit. helps get the dust and klingons off. I guess a pillow case would work too but did not have one in the shop.
