Firearm Recalls
Hey Guys,
I noticed someone came to the site from this forum.
You're right that there are some old recalls on the list. It's basically a compilation of both recalls and safety warnings that have been published over the last 25-30 years. I'm sure there are a lot of recalls that are no longer active. Some of the warnings never involved recalls.
Good info to know about though especially if you are buying an older gun. I've had people email me that have guns on the list and have found that some recalls will still be honored and others where the manufacturers know nothing about the recall.
If you have a gun that is on the list have the gun checked prior to loading it just to be safe.
If anyone knows of a recall or warning that is not on the list let me know and I'll update it.
