I.m a drafting teacher looking for some (read any) blueprints I could use for my kids in advanced drafting to draw 3-d firearms from. I have found some plans for machine guns and the like that cost, but would like access to a free blueprint or 2, rifles, pistols, shotguns, muzzleloaders, anything would be appreciated.

RAW;)

On the GunNuts.com tab at the top of the page, you find quite a few schematics of different makes and models of firearms. Or click here http://www.gunuts.com/

I=ve been there, I have several books at home, Nra exploded firearms drawings, Gun Digest book, among others, but none have dimensions so one could draw them accurately.
Thanks anyways.

Hi, alderan:
http://www.sightm1911.com/
Click on the "Library" bar, then select "Technical" in the top left centre, the select "Blueprints for the M1911A1 Pistol ". Some of the scans aren't too good.

Click on "Bookstore" , then "Gunsmith Shop Manual". The Volume 2 by Kuhnhausen has many of the dimensions. I don't have it, just Volume #1. Perhaps someone here or at the 1911 forum can help you. http://www.1911forum.com/forums/

Bye
Jack
